Kite Beach is a public beach and it’s open all day. You can walk on the running track or cycle along the new cycling track. Restaurants and cafes are open from 8AM till 12PM, some even later when it’s high season. Other services like water sports and sunbeds rental are open from 8AM till Sunset.
Several parkings are available near the beach. The closest one is Kite Beach official parking, right behind the restaurants and the main beach entrance. It costs 10 AED per hour. There are also some free parkings available in the streets nearby and many RTA parkings. The RTA parking is free only on the weekend. The rest of the days it’s around 3 AED / hour.
Kite Beach is also lively during the night, although not as much as during the day. Some restaurants and food trucks are open until 12PM. Also the activities for kids like the trampolines and bouncy castles are open until 11PM. You can walk around the running track, get a chai or karak and simply enjoy the beach at night. Security is always present in the main area, making it safe for everyone. Swimming though it’s not permitted.
Dogs are not allowed on Kite Beach. Dogs are generally not allowed on most of the public beaches in Dubai.
